Okay so the new thing we've decided to do recently at West Sparta COC is to make homemade communion bread. Yay!! I shared my recipe with the ladies here, so I thought I'd share my special recipe with ya'll.
3 cups of flour (all-purpose)
1/2 cup of Crisco
1/2 cup of ice water
Mix together flour and Crisco. Add ice water slowly to the mix, I use my hands to mix it up.
After mixing roll the dough out on to a floured cutting board and cut with a cookie cutter (I use large tumbler glasses). score with a knife or my gran used a meat tenderizer.
Bake at 400 degrees in a preheated oven for 18 min. and VOILA!!
